Kites a Love story but not blockbuster movie thumb down
KITES
Kites is about an Indian boy’s romantic affair with a Latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other’s language. Hiritik Roshan plays a salsa teacher. Kangana Ranaut plays a very rich girl and is shown as Hrithik’s dance student. The story is set in Las Vegas. In the course of learning Salsa from him, she falls madly in love with him. But then a twist in the tale takes place and the romantic story takes a thriller turn. Barbara Mori plays a Latina who speaks only Spanish which Hiritik Roshan can’t speak a word of. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that’s where Kangana Ranaut steps in.

In the harsh terrain of the Mexican desert, a mortally wounded man is left for dead in the heat of the desert sun. This is J (Hrithik Roshan) - once a street smart, carefree, young guy and now a wanted man.

The distribution rights of Kites have been sold to Reliance Big Pictures for a large amount of Rs 150 crores. It is a record till date for Bollywood.[3] The film is Releasing on May 14, 2010 along with biggies like Rajneeti and Housefull.
